A good man!!

Today I woke up to this picture!!

We have several people coming to look at the house this weekend and Josh decided to get a head start on cleaning. He is a good man. I don't know what I did to deserve him!! I am so thankful to have a wonderful husband and best friend.

I can not wait for the day our house sells. I get sick of having to keep everything SUPER clean. My mom and Josh's dad have often said they don't understand why we clean so much or that we should have the cleanest house. I think we have become a little OCD about it. Maybe I should say I have become a little OCD.

Happy Birthday Josh!!

Monday was Josh's Birthday. We celebrated with family last weekend. I picked up his favorite dinner and had him a chocolate cake made. We enjoyed celebrating together. He had a specific request for his birthday present. A slushy machine. I searched everywhere for a good one that would do the job. I finally found one at Target that did more than the job!! He drank cherry slushes all night while enjoying a movie!!

Happy Mother's Day #2

Josh and I hosted Mother's Day for my mom at our house. All the kids teamed up and cooked dinner for her. It was a nice time. It was a very long day for Josh and I but it was worth it!!

Saturday for lunch we headed over to the Clark house for a BIG celebration. We celebrated Mother's Day and the Clark men birthdays. We had good food and lots of laughs. We enjoyed hanging out on the back porch enjoying the beautiful day!!They turned 80 together!!

Friday night

Friday night Josh and I went over to mom and John's for dinner. Heath and Paige ate with us and then went to the movies. We hung out with the girls. We had a great time. They are always entertaining.Anna, Kara, and Luke

Josh is teaching Macy how to play soccer. She is really catching on. She is kicking it and stopping it. It is the funniest sight. Josh and her have been working hard for the past two days on her skills.

Not only is she the cutest dog in the world but she can play soccer!!

This week in review....

Friday night we went over to my mom's for dinner. We ate pizza and had a great salad. After dinner we enjoyed playing lots of stuff with the Anna and Kara. The weather was extremely nice so most of our time was spent outside. I promise to start taking my camera more.

Happy Birthday Shaney!!

Thursday night was Shannon's birthday. We enjoyed going out to eat with Keith, Joan, and Shannon. We had a great time at OUR favorite place to eat....Mama Mia. We had a good time of fellowship and honoring Shannon. Shannon has been a great friend to me through the years. We have had our share of laughs and tears. I hope she enjoyed her day. Shannon also got to taste the best cake ever....a seven layer caramel cake. It is the best out of this world delicious!!! Daddy Clark introduced us to this decedent treat!! Josh has already placed his order for the seven layer chocolate for his birthday in May.

Monday night we had a "Certified" celebration with the Clarks. You have no idea what a big deal me getting certified is....it means I HAVE A JOB!! It is a long story with lots of up and down details. All I can say is that God came through!!! Mike and Connie celebrated with us. Sorry, no camera.

Graduation

Josh graduated from NTS with his Masters in Theology

Quick update....we have not had much going on. The past couple of weekends it has been raining and we have taken advantage of it. Basically, we have watched movies and taken naps. I think we both have really needed the break!

I am officially Infant-Toddler certified!!! Which was a long process and I am very thankful it is over!

Friday afternoon Josh was craving deviled eggs. (after watching Paula Dean on the Food Network) Josh is normally the grill master and does not attempt to do much in the kitchen. He decided to try to make his own deviled eggs. Did I mention we were having open house Saturday morning?? Eggs are not a good thing to cook when showing a house. Anyway, his eggs turned out really good!!Hands work better than a spoon!?!

Wednesday, I joined the King family to eat and celebrate dad's birthday. We had a great time together!! It is hard to believe another year has gone by. Josh and I hope dad had a great birthday!! Josh had to work in Wilmington and wasn't able to come. He had he missed the celebration!!

Weekend at the beach

This weekend Josh and I went to Wilmington to watch Jared run and take care of a few other things. It was a beautiful weekend. We enjoyed hanging out with his parents and the Fernandez crew. We enjoyed the time we got to spend with everyone. We hate we didn't get to spend much time with everyone. Jared let us stay in his room at the condo. Thanks Jared!!

Friday night we went to eat at Longhorn with Josh's parents. We had a fantastic meal. Josh and I took Jared back to his condo...we had the mini packed with stuff for the weekend...so Josh, Jared, and I all rode in the front seat. It was a tight ride but we made it.
