New addition to the family

On Thursday, Josh flew to New York to pick up his new Mini Cooper. He drove it back that night. He has been looking for a new car for a while and finally he found it. Saturday morning he washed, waxed, vacuumed, and cleaned every square inch of it. I am glad he finally got what he wanted. He deserves it for all his hard work. I was just jealous that I couldn't go to New York and stay a couple days. We will be there some this summer. I can't wait.

Night on the town

Saturday night, I meet up with Josh, Ben, Charity, and Joleen to eat dinner. We had a good time eating at Bahama Breeze with Ben. He was home for the week before having to go to Iraq. Josh and him kept us pretty entertained. Classic Josh and Ben

Visit to Raleigh

Saturday afternoon I went to visit with Shannon. I got to see her nice new apartment. It was good to hang out. Although, her and I talk very often we don't get to see each other like we used to since we both have moved out of Nash county.

Tonight, Josh and I went by his parents house to visit. We also got to check out his dad's new Jag. We had a good time visiting with them.

Josh and I had the pleasure helping mom keep Anna and Kara today. We went to the park, Walmarker, Target, and to Nana's house. We had a fun time. They are growing up so fast.

Easters

Since my last post Josh and I went to DC for a church conference. It was nice to get away. Once we got back into town we had friends from California stay with us for a about a week. We had so much fun with Sara Jo and BJ. Looking back March seems somewhat of a blur. We painted and fixed up the guest bathroom and bedroom. We love earth tones!! :)

I am so slack but I have a really good excuse!! We have been extremely busy!! This weekend we had our annual Hop2it which turned out very good but very cold. That was on Saturday. Friday night at church we watch "Passion of Christ." Which is a great reminder of what Easter is all about. Sunday was busy as usual but came to a halt when I got sick. It has taken me all week to get over it but I feel like a new woman today. Unfortunately, we did not get to visit with family on Sunday. Hopefully, we will be able to make up for it in the weeks to come. Our schedule seems to slow down a bit after this weekend.
