We finally painted the living room a color we like

We started painting on Monday night and finished on Wednesday night. We are officially professional painters. After four different paint colors we found one we both loved. We had to use a 24 ft. ladder to paint the peak of the cathedral. I got halfway up the ladder and couldn't take the shaking. Josh was the brave one to climb to the top and trim it out.

We are on the hunt for a new and bigger picture to go behind the sofa. Josh made the curtains. He did a great job. We both designed them but he put them together. Josh is amazing!!! It surprises me everyday with things he can do. I keep threatening to buy him a sewing machine.

Happy Mother's Day and Happy Birthday

For dinner we went to Texas to celebrate Mother's Day and Birthdays. Yesterday was Josh's birthday and today was Mike's birthday. Afterwards we ate cake and more cake. It was a fun day with everyone. Josh and his mom

By this time my batteries were starting to go dead and eventually did. I took more pictures but they were out of focus because the batteries were dead.

Saturday night Josh nd I celebrated by going out to eat and watching "Music and Lyrics." We realy enjoyed just hanging out and spending time together.

Gardening

Saturday afternoon Josh and his dad starting removing some of the brush behind our house. It started raning so they came in for a snack. We planted our first garden. Josh's dad helped us plant them and gave us good advice on how to take care of gardens. Hopefully, if all goes well we will be feasting on cucumbers, tomatoes, and peppers.

This weekend was Josh's birthday...and yes I said this weekend because we celebrated all weekend. We had a great time. Friday night we enjoyed the great company of close friends from church. We had good food and fellowship. Josh felt very loved. He was very thankful for those that came to celebrate with him. Where my pie??
