Macy's new outfit

Josh bought Macy a shirt from the kids section. She can no longer wear coats and shirts from the doggy section :( She has moved to the kids section. You could say she is a little spoiled!!

Curtains

Josh and I have been talking about getting curtains throughout the house but since we hadn't finished painting I thought we were going to wait. Josh couldn't take the light coming in through the window anymore. He took matters into his own creative hands. I came home from work last week to 12ft. curtains hanging up. Josh had picked out the fabric and made them. They are beautiful!!!

Finally I have the camera back

We had dinner with my mom after she returned from her cruise. After hearing about their cruise Josh and I are on the hunt for another one this year. It really didn't take much to make us want to go. I found you!! They love playing hide-n-seek!!

Its been a long time!!

Its been a couple of weeks since I posted anything. SO....we have been busy and our camera has been in the honda. Which made it very difficult to take pictures. Well, we got the body of the honda fixed from where some guy hit me. Now it is ready to sell. We have had a lot going on at church. Last weekend we started our home groups for college and career. That went really good. We both have been working a lot. Josh has committed to going to the gym with me!! It has turned into any everyday thing for both of us. He is starting to love the healthy cooking but (I know he still stops at Bojangles on the way to work) It is paying off (healthy eating and working out)!!

Its that time again

This weekend we enjoyed spending some time with Jared and his roommate. We had a lot going on at church this weekend. This was our annual fast with the church. We have spent many hours in prayer this weekend and week. God is always faithful when you put him first. This is going to be an amazing year. Macy finally got a haircut. She is actually really cute!!

This weekend I did stuff around the house. I am so proud of myself because I washed my car!! It has been a long time since I have had the chance to do that!! Josh worked most of the weekend (end of the year stuff). He has been playing around with the new keyboard! In the past 6 months a new anointing has started to flow from his hands. I love the sound of music throughout the house. Mom and John were watching Anna and Kara one night. We enjoyed playing with them. In the pictures they had gotten into mom's closet while playing hide and seek. They are precious little girls

Happy New Year!!

We brought in the new year with cheesecake and laughter. At our church we had a christian comdien entertain us last night. Laughing was a great way to bring in the new year.

We have been talking about building a headboard for our bed. Tuesday, Josh decided he was ready to take on the task. I think it weighs over 100 pounds. He did a great job building it. He is putting the last coat of stain on it. We will hopefully have it put together by tomorrow.

Christmas Day

We enjoyed the company of some of the families from our church. We had a great time of eating, laughing, and singing. The food we had was unbelievable. I experienced homemade collards for the first time. Josh and I decided at 12am Christmas morning to celebrate and open gifts. Josh got me a i-pod shuffle, clothes, book of Italy. I got him lots of clothes, socks, and dvds. We also bought a new tv for the living room. We enjoyed that gift a little early. This is the first Christmas in many many years that I have been home on Christmas day. We usually go to High Point because Christmas was on Monday we decided to stay home this year. We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!! Josh, Hernan, and Winslow hanging out in the living room waiting for lunch to get heated up.

Merry Christmas in High Point

Thursday, Josh and I traveled to High Point to spend time with my grandparents for Christmas. We had a good time sitting around the kitchen table talking and laughing about old times. I did not get to see everyone because we had to come back home Friday night. We had a really good time with grandma and grandpa. Thank you for letting us stay with you.

Saturday night we had the "Eve of the Eve Party." We had everyone over from Planet Rocky youth. It was so good to see everyone and talk about old times. We had good food and fun games. We split into two teams and made a chrismas music video. We will post the videos soon.

This weekend was packed full of fun. Josh had to go to the church one night and help with the lighting for our children's christmas play, so I went to mom's and enjoyed hanging out with the girls and granny. The night was filled with laughter and running. Heath and Paige were able to go out on a date. Funny faces Lots of funny faces

Cookie Party

We had our second annual cookie party this weekend. A bunch of the girls from work got together with some children and decorated christmas cookies. We shared work stories and ate cookies as we decorated.
