The last night of the cruise we went to a show that included the enitre director staff. It was awesome...but all the shows were great

It is finally time!!! We are off on our long over due vacation!!! We will be back in 10 days!!

30th Anniversary

Before I post the cruise pictures let me catch up..........a couple of weeks ago.....Josh and I were able to take part in the celebration of NPWC's 30th anniversary. It was a wonderful celebration and honored Pastor Kenneth and Lois for their many years of dedication!! We are honored to have grown up in a wonderful ministry!! David and Susan

Last weekend we had out annual women's conference. It went really well and many women's lives were changed!! We had a great time of fellowship and word!! The worship team...minus the choir

Quick update...

Macy chilin

Last Saturday, my mom and I continued a tradition of picking sweet potatoes!! We gathered a lot but were extremely dirty after getting them Josh and I met at his parents house for a great meal and wonderful fellowship. Sunday, we went to my dad's for a cookout. We had a great time hanging out with everyone and eating.

Fixing up the house

Over the past few weeks Josh and I have been cleaning, rearranging, and throwing away stuff. We cleaned out the office and turned it into a bedroom. We decided a couple of months ago that we would put our house up for sale in September so....we have been getting it ready to sell. It looks great!! We are excited about the doors God has started opening!!

We had dinner at my mom's and went to see the progress on Heath and Page's house. They are almost finished with it. They had painted the walls and put in the counter tops. It is very pretty!! Josh and I are very happy for them and their new house.

Church Cook Out!!

We had a cook out a couple of weeks ago to end the summer. We had lots of food and lots of rain!!! Hernan featured in this picture is sweeping water out of our youth center...that is how much rain we had. Despite the rain we had a great time of fellowship.

Yard Sale

Saturday was pretty eventful. Below are pictures of the morning and afternoon activities. Saturday night we went to Greenville for a cook out with some dear friends that attend our church. I completely forgot to take pictures. We had great food, fellowship, and lots of laughter. Inside...Melanie was busy cleaning and painting. I wasn't able to help very much because I have cold and the paint made me feel yucky....I pulled my time Wednesday night.

Outside..... Josh and BJ decided to have a yard sale Saturday morning to help raise money for Masters Commission. Maters is a internship program that is starting at our church in a few weeks. BJ and his wife Sarah moved here from California. They are an awesome couple and have become some of our good friends. Sarah is home in California visiting with her family before Masters starts.

Wilmington

We finally had the opportunity to go to Wilmington this weekend. Although, we hate that Jared wasn't there, we had a great time!! We went to the beach for a little while and found the best store ever!!! Josh and I have been looking for a picture to go behind our couch for over a year. We have not been able to find one because our ceilings are so high...so we decided to put together this master piece.

Friday night mom had Heath's 30th Birthday party. Grandma Smith was able to join us for the celebration!! We enjoyed cooking out and swimming after the fesitivities. Josh and I had a great time hanging out with everyone. Family Portrait

New York

Josh went to New York for the week last week. Pastor Israel, Josh , and two others guys went to do a youth conference. They had a great time. I missed him greatly!! We are planning a trip at Christmas!! I can't wait. New York is one of our favorite spots!! Our other favorite is a cruise anywhere....which we will be going on in October!!!

Birthday Party #3

Saturday night we had a birthday party for ANNA and KARA at my dad's. We grilled hamburgers and hotdogs. It was very nice because my grandma, grandpa, Lisa, Tony, Brandon, and Matthew came!! It was so good to see everyone. We had a good time together.

Yard Work

Friday, I was trimming the grass around the house and found a snake in the grass!!! UGH!! I have never ran so fast in my life!!! This little creature came after me!! Even after Josh cut his head off he was hissing!! YUCK!!

Sunday night we went to my Mom's to celebrate Anna and Kara's 3rd birthday. It is so hard to believe they are 3!! We had hot dogs hamburgers, and cake. Josh and I went with Heath and Paige to see the house they are building. It is beautiful!!! We had a great time!! It was a great ending to a LONG weekend!!
