Way to go Josh

We have been talking about building a headboard for our bed. Tuesday, Josh decided he was ready to take on the task. I think it weighs over 100 pounds. He did a great job building it. He is putting the last coat of stain on it. We will hopefully have it put together by tomorrow.

Christmas Day

We enjoyed the company of some of the families from our church. We had a great time of eating, laughing, and singing. The food we had was unbelievable. I experienced homemade collards for the first time. Josh and I decided at 12am Christmas morning to celebrate and open gifts. Josh got me a i-pod shuffle, clothes, book of Italy. I got him lots of clothes, socks, and dvds. We also bought a new tv for the living room. We enjoyed that gift a little early. This is the first Christmas in many many years that I have been home on Christmas day. We usually go to High Point because Christmas was on Monday we decided to stay home this year. We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!! Josh, Hernan, and Winslow hanging out in the living room waiting for lunch to get heated up.

Merry Christmas in High Point

Thursday, Josh and I traveled to High Point to spend time with my grandparents for Christmas. We had a good time sitting around the kitchen table talking and laughing about old times. I did not get to see everyone because we had to come back home Friday night. We had a really good time with grandma and grandpa. Thank you for letting us stay with you.

Eve of the Eve Party

Saturday night we had the "Eve of the Eve Party." We had everyone over from Planet Rocky youth. It was so good to see everyone and talk about old times. We had good food and fun games. We split into two teams and made a chrismas music video. We will post the videos soon.

Anna and Kara

This weekend was packed full of fun. Josh had to go to the church one night and help with the lighting for our children's christmas play, so I went to mom's and enjoyed hanging out with the girls and granny. The night was filled with laughter and running. Heath and Paige were able to go out on a date. Funny faces Lots of funny faces

They wanted to watch Josh's video A LOT!! Eventually they started singing and dancing to it.

Ice Skating

Josh and I took our college and career group ice skating to celebrate the holidays together. We had such a good time. Although, it was rather wierd walking outside to 70 degree weather. I did not get a chance to take many pictures because our camera died.

Busy Weekend

This weekend we went to mom and John's to celebrate Christmas. We had great food and good laughs. It was so much fun being with everybody. Mom always does a great job!! Anna and Kara are at a fun age. Grandma Smith and Bill were able to come join us. Thursday we will be heading to High Point to see dad and grandma and grandpa King. We will be back on Saturday morning to get ready for more partying that night at our "Eve of the Eve Party" which is going to be lots of fun!! Anna and Kara got cinderella cars

Happy Birthday

I had a very good birthday. Josh did everything in his power to make sure of that. For my birthday Josh got me a new laptop, memory stick for it, and some pampering items. He made sure that my day was special. I got lots of cards, phone calls, hugs, emails, stuff for the house, money, and gift cards. My night started at Outback Steakhouse but ended up at Texas due to extremely rude service!! We had more people eating with us but due to the rude service and long wait the Campbells had to leave and put the kids to bed. All in all I had a great birthday. Thank you to everyone who made it so special.
My birthday song was Feliz to the Navidad from Josh's famous video. He had all the waitresses at Texas sing along with him.

Let the parties begin

Today, we had our leadership christmas party for our church. We enjoyed delicious Italian dishes, good fellowship, and lots of laughter. It was a wonderful time of fellowship with a dedicated group of servants.
